Irma Palacios (b. 1943) is a distinguished Mexican artist known for her deeply expressive abstract paintings. She studied at the National School of Painting, Sculpture and Engraving “La Esmeralda” in Mexico City, where she developed a strong foundation in contemporary abstraction.

Palacios’s work is characterized by layered textures, subtle tonal variations, and a meditative approach to color and form. Her compositions often evoke landscape and memory, creating immersive spaces that invite quiet contemplation and emotional resonance.
