Patricia Torres is a multimedia artist whose work explores the body and the social construction of gender through a conceptual and visually restrained language. She studied at the Academia de San Carlos at the National Autonomous University of Mexico in Mexico City and at the San Francisco Art Institute.

Working across painting and conceptual practices, Torres employs minimal color, flattened perspectives, and carefully structured compositional planes to challenge traditional representation. Her work invites multiple readings, in which space and form are deliberately fragmented, creating a dialogue among perception, identity, and meaning.

Torres has exhibited internationally in more than 60 exhibitions across Mexico, Puerto Rico, Canada, France, Taiwan, and the United States. Her work has been recognized with numerous distinctions, including support from the National Endowment for the Arts, the National System of Creators Fellowship (Mexico), and artist residencies such as the Banff Center for the Arts.
